In a moment where the role of European democracy is more crucial than ever, TDM Portugal has hosted a series of Multiplier Events designed to foster civic engagement and deepen understanding of the European Parliament’s impact on everyday life. These events, held across various locations in Portugal, have not only encouraged the spirit of active citizenship but have also become a space of the sharing of knowledge and interaction between citizens and policy-makers.
To maximise outreach and impact, TDM Portugal took a flexible approach to the event formats and venues, therefore attracting a diverse audience ranging from experienced voters to politically curious students – potential first-time voters. Each event was designed to be inclusive, engaging, and educational, ensuring that every participant left with a greater understanding of the EU’s role in their lives.
The events included interactive sessions where participants could ask direct questions to the policy-makers, creating a more interactive environment of exchange and learning.
