Our Changemakers

Italy

Voting is a fundamental right and a cornerstone of democracy. By participating in the Changemakers project and encouraging others to do the same,I want to help protect democratic values and ensure that future generations have the opportunity to live in a democratic society that they themselves helped shape.

Italy

By participating in the Changemakers project, I want to be part of a group of people that drives positive change. This initiative empowers individuals to take an active role in advocating for issues that matter, from climate action to social justice. Your voice can inspire others, mobilize communities, and drive policy changes that reflect the will and needs of the people.

Italy

I believe that the European elections are a critical opportunity to influence the direction of policies and leadership that affect millions. By voting, you have a say in who represents you and how issues like economic stability, environmental sustainability, and human rights are addressed. The Changemakers project educates and motivates citizens to vote, ensuring that diverse voices are heard and represented.

Italy

In my opinion, active citizenship is our fundamental right and duty at the local, national and international level. After all, voting gives us an opportunity to choose the representatives who share our values and beliefs and indirectly shape the future. In an era of information overload and growing political apathy, it’s easy for people to feel disconnected or disillusioned with the electoral process. The Changemakers project aims to combat this by providing accurate information, debunking myths, and highlighting the real-world impact of voting. Your participation can help spread awareness and encourage informed decision-making.

Italy

In my opinion active citizenship is essential to ensure meaningful participation in the European elections in June. Moreover, I strongly believe that voting in the European elections represents an opportunity to directly influence the policies that affect us. Being an active citizen means being aware of one’s democratic rights and duties, including participation in voting. Nowadays every vote counts – that’s why I believe that active citizenship which active voting is part of is the engine that drives change and representation in European politics.

Italy

Active citizenship goes beyond just voting; it means staying informed, participating in public discourse, and engaging in community activities. That’s why I want to be part of the Changemakers project – it provides tools, resources, and a supportive network to enhance young people’s civic engagement, helping them to not only understand the importance of their vote but also to encourage others to participate in the democratic process.

Italy

In my opinion, The Changemakers Project is our chance to be part of a dynamic movement dedicated to promoting active citizenship and increasing voter turnout in the European elections. Together, we can ensure that every voice is heard and that our collective future is shaped by informed, engaged, and empowered citizens on the local national and European level.

Unfortunately, in many countries in Europe a big percentage of young people are hesitant towards participating in the elections. As a result, those who are elected do not always represent the interests of young generation. With this project, I hope to help improve the situation in our local communities, engaging more young people in discussions about the EU and the elections.

Italy

For me, the Changemakers project is about building stronger, more resilient communities through collective action, offering a chance for local youngsters to . I believe that our participation in the project will help foster a culture of collaboration and mutual support.

Our vote in the EP elections helps decide who will represent our interests and influence decisions on issues such as climate change, digital rights, trade, and consumer protection – all topics that are very important in today’s society. However, young people don’t always realize the impact that their vote can have on the decisions that are made and policies that are implemented. I hope and believe that with the Changemakers project we can help to raise awareness on that.

Since the beginning of my studies at the university, I have been observing a rising percentage of people, especially in Slovakia, who distrust the EU and its institutions.
